Qualifications

• Knowledge of cultural barriers to medical care and ability to diminish barriers for patients and SCHC.

Responsibilities

• Provide translation services and support non-English speaking patients and their families throughout clinical visits.
• Work directly with medical staff to ensure accurate communication and understanding between patient and staff.
• Assist patients in completing intake forms at initial visits, including demographic and medical history and financial verification.
• Assist social service worker and patient in completing the social service intake process.
• These functions are not all inclusive.
