Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Track & Field Coach in Manchester, NH. The role reports to the Director of Cross-Country and Track & Field and will implement training programs for multi-events, throwing events, or other field events.

Work hours are 10-20 hours per week with travel and variable hours including some nights and weekends for competitions. Duties include planning daily sessions, developing personalized plans, and supporting student-athlete

Qualifications

1+ years coaching and/or personal athletic experience in multi-events, throwing events, or other field events.
Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of coaching experience in multi-events, throwing events, or other field events.
Hold a valid driver27s license and be eligible to be insured to drive team vans to competitions when needed.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead daily training sessions for throwing events, including warm-up routines and drills.
Develop personalized training plans to help athletes reach goals.
Provide guidance and feedback on techniques during training and competitions.
Motivate athletes in a supportive environment.
Assist with recruiting student-athletes for throwing events.
Collaborate with coaches, staff, and administrators to ensure program success.
Mentor student-athletes in academics, athletics, and personal development.
Ensure compliance with NCAA, NE10 and SNHU policies.
