Responsibilities

• Coaches the varsity squad and supervises JV & assistant coaches
• Guides junior varsity program development
• Implements district athletic department policies
• Assists in selecting and evaluating JV and assistant staff
• Coordinates with Athletic Director, Athletic Coordinator and Principal
• Communicates game schedules and travel logistics
• Verifies student physicals and Family ID requirements
• Supervises students during travel and away contests
• Maintains equipment and uniforms, prepares awards and season records
• Attends state meetings and stays informed on sport trends
• Maintains professional memberships and positive staff relations
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director/Principal
• Communicates with players on personal development during and off-season
• Holds parent meetings on sportsmanship
• Promotes the program and participation for upcoming seasons
• Enforces student discipline during contests and travel
