Northern Woods Wellness LLC is seeking a part-time licensed therapist in Wisconsin who can provide individual and couples therapy with a trauma-informed approach. The role emphasizes in-person care, equity in mental health, and collaboration within a small, supportive clinical team.
The clinician will build and manage a diverse caseload across community populations, including farmers, students, Veterans, and families, while maintaining autonomy within a collaborative environment.
People in the Chippewa Valley are waiting for good therapy. Not just any therapy. Real, thoughtful, trauma-informed care that actually helps them move through life. That's what we do at Northern Woods Wellness, and we need another skilled clinician to help us do more of it!
We're a small, close team of clinicians who care about the work, about each other, and about the people we serve. Your voice matters here and you'll help shape what this practice becomes. We're looking for someone who wants to show up in person as much as possible because they believe in the power of face-to-face care. In-person demand in this community is real, and we want someone who's energized by that.
You can expect a caseload that reflects the real lives of the community:
Individual therapy here doesn't look like one kind of person with one kind of problem. The Chippewa Valley is home to a wide range of people navigating a wide range of circumstances, and our clinicians work across all of it. That includes farmers and agricultural workers managing stress, isolation, and financial uncertainty. Veterans and their families carrying the weight of service. College students finding their footing in early adulthood. Working class families stretched thin by economic pressure. Survivors of trauma looking for a place to finally exhale. Older adults facing grief, transition, and the particular loneliness that can come with age.
We're searching for a clinician who is comfortable moving across these populations and who sees that as a strength of the work.
