Job summary

Discovery Ranch South in Utah is seeking a part-time Teacher's Aide (TA) to support middle and high school classes under teachers’ direction. The role focuses on Social Studies, Science, Math, or Language Arts as needed.

You will work with a close-knit team to ensure quality instruction, progress monitoring, and goal setting with advisees. The position includes a 2:45–8:00 pm schedule and rewards like meals and EAP support.

Qualifications

• Completion of 48 College Credit Hours OR Associate's Degree OR Praxis ParaPro within 30 days of employment.
• 21+ years of age.
• Eligible to work in USA.
• Able to pass background check.
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Government issued ID.
• CPR & 1st Aid (we will provide)

Responsibilities

• Help teachers provide classroom instruction in Social Studies, Science, Math or Language Arts depending on need.
• Assist middle and high school students with curriculum, assignments, study skills and tests.
• Meet weekly with a few advisees to set goals, monitor progress and provide encouragement.
