Job summary

Uintah School District seeks a Part-time Math Aide for Utah High School to support student learning and classroom activities.

The role is up to 29.5 hours per week as a voucher position with no benefits; must be 21+ and have a high school diploma with additional credits or ParaPro eligibility. Begin ASAP and work within district guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Elementary Teacher Certificate preferred but not mandatory.
• Associate degree or 48 college credits OR willingness to pass ParaPro test.
• Must be 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students.
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth.
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Assist with data collection.
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed.
• Work cooperatively with staff to insure a safe and pleasant learning environment.
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.

• Work cooperatively with all staff to insure a comfortable and pleasant working environment that will be conducive to learning and will encourage safety and good relationships;
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma;
• Utah Elementary Teacher Certificate preferred but not mandatory;
• Must hold Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit OR must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.
