Job summary

North Shore Community College in Danvers, MA is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Therapeutic Massage Laboratory in the PTA program for the Fall semester.

The successful candidate will provide laboratory instruction, demonstrate massage techniques including draping, positioning, and body mechanics, and evaluate student performance while promoting professional behaviors and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).
• Demonstrated clinical experience in therapeutic massage practice.
• Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach Therapeutic Massage Laboratory for the Fall semester.
• Provide laboratory instruction and demonstrate massage techniques including draping, positioning, and body mechanics.
• Evaluate student performance and foster a learning environment that promotes professional behaviors and evidence-based practice.
