Lee College on the Main Campus in Baytown, TX seeks a Part-Time Testing Assistant to support the Testing Center by administering tests such as TSIA, GED-related certifications, and distance education tests in a standardized environment.

The role requires an Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours, computer literacy, ability to travel to remote testing sites, willingness to train as a Pearson VUE test administrator, and availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of 60 college credits.
• Must be computer literate.
• Able to travel to remote locations to administer placement testing.
• Must complete formal training required to Pearson VUE/GED and/or other certification exams.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of tests (e.g., TSIA, instructor make-up/individualized, computerized, distance education, proctored, certification).
• Assist with different types of reports as needed.
• Manage Testing Center in the absence of the Testing Specialist/Testing Assistant.
• Maintain test security and confidentiality of student records.
• Monitor testing materials and proctor candidates during testing.
• Schedule test appointments and answer phones.
• Attend training to become a Certified Pearson VUE Test Administrator (GED).
• Assist faculty with test handling and supervise student workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
