Job summary

Pearson VUE is hiring part-time Test Administrators to join our team in Fairfield, California. The position supports secure exam delivery and exceptional customer service in a calm testing environment. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with eligibility for accrued paid sick time.

The role requires flexibility across shifts (7:15 am - 8:00 pm) and 4 Saturdays per month, with a 4-12 hour weekly schedule. Prior proctoring experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible in work hours and days.
• Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must be able to sit for long periods and escort candidates to testing room.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a calm environment.
• Check in testing candidates and verify identification.
• Proctor/invigilate candidates during exams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with internal departments.
• Complete light housekeeping duties (e.g., cleaning keyboards).
• Other duties as assigned.
