Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Part Time Terminal Operator at our Buffalo Terminal NY location. The role focuses on safely operating terminal equipment to load and unload boats, trucks, and materials with emphasis on accuracy and efficient request processing.

Responsibilities include grounds and equipment maintenance, handling cargo, and maintaining records while following safety policies. HS diploma required; 1–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete paperwork.
• Candidates with a mechanical background and welding experience are desirable.
• Autonomous, meticulous, good judgment.
• Courteous with customers.
• Attestation on any kind of training an asset.
• Knowledge of cement, the construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset.
• Must wear PPE and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Carry out loading/unloading tasks for rail, waterway, and road transportation.
• Operate truck loading equipment and conduct basic maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies.
• Keep accurate maintenance and inventory records.
• Perform clerical tasks for receipts, shipments and inventory records.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and promote safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
