Job summary

Unison Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller to perform routine member transactions with high accuracy and exceptional service. The role includes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing, with a Saturday premium and starting hourly wage of $18.00.

The ideal candidate should be outgoing with strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a passion for helping others; the position reports to the Tellers Manager and is approximately 29.9 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in teller and/or member service area of a credit union or financial institution is preferred, as well as previous customer service and cash-handling experience.
• Effective oral communication skills to converse with members in person and over the telephone in a pleasant, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills are a must.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional, and timely manner, providing prompt, accurate, and efficient member transactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all credit union products and services offered by tellers and related policies and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift and research discrepancies with supervisor as necessary.
• Promote, explain and cross-sell all products and services offered by the credit union.
