Job summary

Bristol County Savings Bank in North Attleboro, MA is seeking a Part-Time Teller to provide efficient customer service, process a range of transactions, and support sales of bank products. The role requires attention to detail and knowledge of banking services.

The Teller will participate in daily cash handling, adhere to regulatory guidelines, and support branch operations. Weekend hours may be required; prior teller experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months teller or similar customer contact experience.
• Basic math, strong customer service, communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.
• Ability to use office equipment including computer terminal.
• Ability to work extended or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and courteous customer service and perform transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, cashing checks, and redeeming U.S. Savings Bonds.
• Receive and process customer payments such as mortgage installments.
• Maintain knowledge of products and refer customers to appropriate departments.
• Balance cash, ensure accuracy, and participate in branch settlement.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and BSA policies.
• Cross-sell bank products and advise customers within teller authority.
• Perform related duties as needed.
