Job summary

Central Bank of the Midwest in Missouri is seeking a part-time Teller to join our retail banking team. You will handle transactions, assist customers face-to-face, and help maintain a welcoming, accurate service environment while balancing cash drawers and following procedures.

The role offers growth opportunities, cross-selling of bank products, and a culture that values accuracy, professionalism, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.
Basic math skills, computer/typing skills and the ability to count U.S. currency.
Analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
Look for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in a customer-centric manner.

Responsibilities

Process financial transactions accurately and timely via lobby, drive-thru, ATM, and other avenues.
Balance assigned cash drawer and research differences where applicable.
Actively listen to customers and communicate in a friendly, positive manner at all times.
Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services to meet client needs.
Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
