Job summary

Flushing Bank's Carpenter Rd branch in Ann Arbor is seeking a part-time Teller to be the first point of contact for members. You will process transactions with accuracy, maintain cash standards, and offer financial solutions that make a difference.

You will build relationships, meet referral goals, and contribute to a positive branch environment in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Starting pay is $18.50/hour. Saturday hours required on a rotational schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service, cash handling and balancing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication; works well in a team.
• Willing to initiate and embrace change; able to lift up to 50 lbs; Saturday hours on rotation; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process daily work in a multi-tasking environment.
• Accurately process teller transactions and maintain cash balancing standards.
• Adhere to all policy and procedures, including branch compliance and security procedures.
• Provide superior service to prospective and existing members.
• Maintain product and service knowledge to assist our members.
• Meet individual referral goals and service standard expectations.
• Assist in any area of the branch as needed.
