Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller to join our Grand Rapids South Region team. The teller will deliver a warm, member-centered experience, handling high volumes of transactions accurately and promoting LMCU products to meet members' financial needs.

You will work on-site, with Saturday rotations and travel within the region as needed. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.

• Promote a positive member experience leading to member retention through proactive engagement, building trusting relationships with members.
• Identify and address member needs, offering information and guidance about products and services that align with their financial goals.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to all members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate adverse situations, ensuring positive outcomes for both members and LMCU.
• Accurately perform basic and advanced teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, checks, wire requests).
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily with accurate accounting of cash received and disbursed.
• Follow security protocols and fraud prevention guidelines; monitor for fraudulent activity.
