Job summary

You’ll demonstrate strong cash handling, attention to detail, and the ability to educate customers about self-service options. The role may require weekend and evening hours at the Watertown branch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months cash handling experience required.
• 6+ months demonstrated customer service experience required.
• Excellent customer service and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to identify and elevate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
• Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology to engage customers.
• Energetic, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Understands accuracy and attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide an elevated level of exceptional customer service by welcoming customers and assisting with banking needs.
• Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures to prevent fraudulent situations.
• Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
• Engage customers and educate them on self-service options.
• Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment.
• Responsibilities may extend to supporting nearby branch locations as needed.
