Job summary

PNC is seeking a part-time Teller based in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on delivering a positive customer experience, increasing engagement with customers and guiding them to suitable PNC products.

You will engage customers in the branch, educate them on digital tools, and refer opportunities to branch staff as appropriate. Prior retail banking exposure is helpful but not required, and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• No degree required; high school diploma acceptable.
• Retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn bank products and policies.

Responsibilities

• Delivers a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
• Identifies opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers, making appropriate referrals to branch staff.
• Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customer’s problems.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures, ensuring teller and branch operations are efficient and accurate.
