Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Prior teller experience and knowledge of banking regulations preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic math skills including handling currency and balances.

Responsibilities

• Operate teller window and process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments with accuracy.
• Open new accounts and CDs, verify paperwork and enter data.
• Answer customer questions and refer to supervisors as needed.
• Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies.
• Process night deposits, mail, ATM servicing, and branch opening/closing.
• Provide additional services such as cashier's checks, travel cards, and gift cards.
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures.
