• Serves customers quickly, accurately, efficiently and confidentially according to the SouthState Bank Service Standards.
• Knows and understands the products and services offered by the Bank and can explain benefits and features.
• Identify customer needs and expectations by listening for clues to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Seeks opportunities to expand customer relationships by making referrals per goals for the position.
• Maintains a neat and professional appearance in line with bank policy.
• Assess and manage risks associated with teller duties and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develops an understanding of customer facing technology and enrolls customers in self-service options.
• Process teller transactions for savings, checking, and loan accounts.
• Balance transactions daily and maintain accuracy; assist in training new tellers as needed.
• May allow customers access to safe deposit boxes and assist with ATM balancing.
• Cash checks and process savings withdrawals within limits and prescribed procedures.
• Handle sales of certified checks within limits; maintain proper workflow and security.
• Follow policies to minimize errors and adhere to branch security and audit procedures.
