Job summary

FFNM is seeking a teller to handle routine member transactions, deposits and cash handling with accuracy and courtesy. You will post balances, balance drawers, and assist with money orders and cashier’s checks in a secure environment.

Strong math and communication skills are required, along with a high sense of detail and teamwork. This position includes benefits and requires weekend shifts as part of scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 6 months cash-handling experience, bondable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with members and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and perform routine teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and check cashing.
• Assist authorized members with safe deposit access, money orders and cashier’s checks.
• Balance teller drawer at shift end and follow security procedures.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional services and direct members to appropriate departments.
