Job summary

Qualifications

• Telemetry Technician certification required.
• BLS required.
• EMT, CNA, or MA license or certification preferred.
• One year experience as unit clerk in acute setting preferred.
• Computer knowledge required.
• High school graduate or GED required.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Health Information Management awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry system per hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain medical records and assist with patient call lights.
• Perform clerical duties such as answering phones.
