Job summary

Sonoma Specialty Hospital in Sebastopol, CA seeks a part-time Telemetry Technician to monitor telemetry systems, maintain medical records, and assist with patient call lights and clerical tasks.

You will work 12-hour shifts, be non-exempt, and support nursing in the acute care environment. Telemetry Technician certification and BLS are required, EMT/CNA/MA licenses preferred, plus computer knowledge.

Qualifications

• One year experience as unit clerk in acute setting preferred.

Position Title: Telemetry Technician

Job Summary:

The Telemetry Technician is responsible for monitoring telemetry system per Sonoma Specialty Hospital policies and procedures and is also responsible for maintaining medical records, assisting with patient call lights, and performing clerical duties such as answering phones, etc.

Essential Functions:

• Competent with the Telemetry monitor system and Telemetry monitor policy.
• Respond to phone, BP monitoring equipment and Telemetry monitor system alarms.
