Job summary

City of St. George is seeking a Technology Customer Service Representative to join our Operations team. This part-time role supports City employees by resolving hardware and software issues, answering Help Desk calls, and guiding users through technical problems to ensure systems stay productive.

You will open and route tickets, provide training, document steps, and assist with hardware setup and mobile devices. A proactive, customer-focused communicator will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in customer service or computer support.
• Possess a valid Utah driver license and be prepared to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Familiarity with hardware, software, and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls into the City Help Desk.
• Open, route, manage, and resolve tickets in the IT Service Management platform.
• Provide technical assistance, support, and training to users as needed.
• Assist with the setup, installation, and configuration of new hardware and software systems.
• Document processes and contribute to the knowledge base.
