Job Description And Position Requirements
The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for a part-time teaching assistant for BA 841 in the fall 2025 semester. The successful candidate may expect up to 15 hours of work per week through the regular academic calendar.
Job Duties
- Hold weekly office hours to assist students, clarify course content, and support their academic progress
- Hold make-up exams as directed by faculty supervisor
- Evaluate homework, quizzes, exams, or projects in a timely and fair manner per the faculty supervisor’s guidelines
- Provide constructive feedback to support student learning
- Respond to student inquiries via email and Zoom in a timely and professional manner
Requirements And Qualifications
- Successful completion of this course at Penn State, or a similar course at a comparable institution
Compensation
The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
