Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Advanced Professional Certificate.
• Maryland Teaching Certificate or pursuing renewal.
• Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience.
• Minimum of two years in leadership/mentoring roles.
• Knowledge of instructional methodologies and curricular development.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate resources to assist new teachers.
• Collaborate with regular and special education staff on daily responsibilities.
• Analyze pre/post assessment results to guide instructional decisions.
• Maintain a log of mentor activities, visits, and meetings.
• Meet with building principal and instructional leadership as needed.
• Utilize instructional and workplace technologies for communication and documentation.
• Provide written feedback to new teachers.
• Coordinate visits and reflections with master teacher classrooms.
• Collaborate with the school to coordinate additional school-based support.
