Job summary

Boulder Valley School District is seeking a half-time Teacher Librarian at Meadowlark School in Erie, CO. The TL will partner with staff to provide information literacy, digital tools, and 21st-century skills through innovative library programming and collaborative teaching.

You will manage library operations, curate a blended collection, and support literacy across content areas while fostering student agency and maker-centered learning.

Qualifications

• Currently hold a Colorado teaching license or have licensure in process with a School Librarian endorsement.
• Endorsement must be acquired within 36 months.
• Applicants may be enrolled in a School Librarian program upon hire.
• Complete BVSD online application.

Responsibilities

• Participate in collaborative decision making at the school when appropriate.
• Plan and conduct formal and informal professional development for staff.
• Lead face-to-face, online, and blended professional development.
• Model purposeful design in lesson projects using frameworks like Design Thinking and PBL.
• Collaborate with teachers to design interdisciplinary, literacies-rich experiences.
• Support digital citizenship and ethical use of information and technology.
