LMACCC in Boston is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teacher to support children from 2 months to 5 years old. You’ll create a safe, nurturing classroom, foster relationships with families, and help young learners develop foundational skills.

Flexibility is key: shifts between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm with peak demand in morning and late afternoon. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, immunizations up to date, and prior daycare/early childhood teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting.
• Up-to-date immunizations.
• Strong understanding of child development principles.

In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to support all ages, h elping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment every step of the way. What You’ll Do:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children ages 2 months to 5 years old
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule of your choice: any hours 6:30 am-6:00 pm. The most needed shifts are between 6:30/7-10 am and 2:30/3-6 pm
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Up-to-date immunizations
• Previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices
