Job summary

LearnWell in Newington, NH seeks a passionate part-time teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to work with adolescent patients in a behavioral health facility. The 15-hour weekly role runs Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm, within a small classroom of 8–15 students.

You will plan daily lessons, provide individualized support, monitor progress, and maintain attendance and session reports, while communicating student updates to the team. Eligible for PTO, healthcare, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• New Hampshire teaching license.
• Comfortable working with K-12 students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Newington, NH on a part-time basis for the 2026-2027 school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entitles a 15-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 9am- 12pm.
