Jama Investments in Chippewa Falls, WI is seeking a part-time Cook to join a tavern kitchen. You will prepare menu items to recipe and presentation standards in a fast-paced environment, and operate grill, fryer, sauté, oven and other equipment safely.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of cooking experience, valid food handler certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb while standing for 8+ hours. Availability nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant or tavern kitchen preferred.
• Valid food handler / food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Working knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques.
• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and be on their feet for 8 hours or more per shift.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items to standardized recipes, portions, and plating specs.
• Operate grill, fryer, sauté, oven, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and other food management practices.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
• Assist with prep, line setup, and end-of-shift cleaning and breakdown.
