JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Management & Organization Department of The Smeal College of Business is seeking applicants for part-time job of Teaching Assistant for Instructor Elman's BA 301 course for the Fall 2026 semester.

Job duties to include:
  • Helping to proctor the midterm exam
  • Assisting with online grading of video assignments, as well as reading and replying to student comments each week on Packback
  • Additional teaching-related tasks as assigned
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies
  • Must have taken BA 304 and earned a grade of A- or better
Compensation

The starting rate for this job is $15/hour based on experience.

Background checks / clearances

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
