Job summary

Estes Handyman LLC is seeking a reliable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our swing shift team in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to keep properties in top condition and respond quickly to issues.

Ideal candidates have basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry/HVAC knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a professional work ethic. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to work swing shift on a part-time schedule.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across assigned properties or facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escape.
• Complete carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Document completed work orders and report any major issues to management.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
