Job summary

Estes Handyman LLC is seeking a reliable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our swing shift in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will perform a range of general maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC minor repairs, while keeping clients' properties in excellent condition.

The role requires experience in handyman work, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to handle physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general maintenance or handyman work.
• Ability to work swing shift hours on a part-time schedule.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual and professional with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing and standing.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs and upkeep across assigned properties or facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
• Complete carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Document completed work orders and report any major issues to management.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
