Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at our West Hartford site in Connecticut. This part-time role offers 10-15 hours per week and involves teaching swimming to adults and children, helping participants build confidence and water safety.

Join a team dedicated to helping participants learn, grow and succeed in the pool. You will design individualized programs and provide safe instruction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
• Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.
• Deliver instruction in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
• Join a team dedicated to helping participants learn, grow, and succeed in the pool.
