HealthFitness is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor for Harvard Recreation in Cambridge, MA. Join the Aquatics team on campus to deliver effective, safe swim instruction for adults and children in private or small-group settings.

You will design individualized programs to match participants' interests and abilities, with flexible scheduling and up to 15 hours per week. Certification requirements, background in swimming, and on-site duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days.
• 2+ years of experience strongly preferred.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
• Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.
• This is a part-time position with flexible work hours and the ability to create your own schedule.
