Emler Swim School in Kirkland, WA, seeks a dedicated swim instructor to teach weekly lessons and cheer on student milestones. You will train with an experienced mentor, build trust with families, and keep safety as a top priority in and around the pool.

This on-site role offers evenings and weekend shifts, entry into a supportive team, and opportunities to grow into a mentor or leader while developing valuable life skills for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with strong communication.
• Availability for evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn our swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive relationships with students and parents.
• Maintaining top safety in and around the pool.
• Active role requiring movement and in-pool activity.
• Teaching classes for ages 6 months to 12 years with energy.
