Job summary

Premier Aquatics Services LLC. is seeking a friendly Swim Instructor for seasonal, part-time work at our California facility. You will deliver safe, engaging group and private lessons, help with water safety, stroke development, and foster confidence in learners of all ages.

No experience needed to apply; must be at least 16, available 2-3 days weekly, and willing to lifeguard when required. This role offers hourly pay of $19–$22 and opportunities for growth after specified shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Available to work 2-3 days a week (3.1 to 5-hour shifts).
• Willing to also work as a lifeguard as needed.
• Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a willingness to learn.
• Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Basic Life Support certification.
• Pass a Live Scan fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate swim lesson curriculum as provided by Premier Management Staff.
• Responsible for the safety of all program participants in group lessons, private lessons, and patrons on deck.
• Set up and break down of lesson stations.
• Effectively communicate information promptly to the supervisor.
• Ensures that all rules and appropriate safety measures are stated, communicated, and carried out by all swim instructors.
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with the team and students.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness and order for the aquatic facility.
• Attend quarterly in-service training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
