Job summary

Friends Central Aquatics in Wynnewood, PA is seeking lead/assistant coaches to join our year-round staff. You will work with the Head Coach to support six practice groups for ages 5 to 18, with evening hours on weekdays and weekend shifts, including meets.

Ideal candidates have competitive coaching experience and knowledge of strokes. You will be a positive role model, communicate well, and complete USA Swimming requirements within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Previous competitive swimming coaching experience required.
• Knowledge of strokes and mechanics; ability to coach novices to high-level swimmers.
• Commitment to background checks and USA Swimming requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach in creating season plans and workouts.
• Lead lanes and teach stroke technique to groups by ability.
• Attend meets, both weekend events, as needed.
• Provide feedback to athletes to foster improvement.
• Participate in team functions outside pool hours.
