Job summary

OSU-Institute of Technology seeks an instructional faculty member to support the Civil Engineering/Surveying Technologies programs. You will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degrees and teach courses in Surveying, Land Law, Properties of Soils, and Transportation.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Surveying with industry experience; a master’s degree is highly preferred and expected to be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying or related discipline from an accredited college or university; master’s degree highly preferred and will need to obtained within a reasonable time upon hire.
• Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement with appropriate approval.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degrees in the Civil Engineering/Surveying Technologies program.
• Teach courses in Surveying, Land Law, Properties of Soils, and Transportation.
