Job summary

OSU-Oklahoma City invites applications for a full-time faculty role at the campus. The appointment may be 9 months or less and involves teaching required courses, maintaining records, advising students, and contributing to program development in a university setting.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate in Applied Science with licensure and at least three years of industry experience; Bachelor's or Master's degree and LMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate in Applied Science in discipline and licensure with industry experience.
• Licensed Surveyor with minimum of three years of experience.
• Proven teaching competence and ability to develop lesson plans and materials.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum twelve (12) credit hours per semester for lab classes or fifteen (15) credit hours for non-lab classes; may include evenings or online instruction.
• Maintain student and course records in the LMS and course outlines with objectives and grading procedures.
• Advise students and assist in selecting appropriate academic courses; manage office hours per guidelines.
• Post and keep office hours; may serve as lead instructor; participate in retention strategies and assessment models.
• Serve on special projects and committees; assist in designing/revising courses and curricula.
• Exhibit innovative and adaptive instructional methods; complete mandatory training and professional development annually.
• Fulfill all faculty requirements as noted in the Faculty Handbook; perform other duties as assigned.
