Position Summary

Part-time instructor needed to teach a Surveying class for our Construction Management program for Summer, 2026.

Essential Job Functions

Areas to cover include theory and terminology associated with the profession of land surveying, incorporating basic principles and field procedures with traditional and more modern surveying equipment. Hands‑on fieldwork is an essential component of the class.

Must be able to relate surveying data to architectural and engineering design, as well as the duties and skills of a surveyor. Online and remote teaching for theory is possible.

Requirements

Qualifications include hands‑on surveying experience working in a surveying/civil engineering firm. Associate of Applied Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or equivalent experience desired. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not needed. Pay is commensurate with experience.
