Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Surgical Technologist (Part-Time) to join our operating room team. You will assist surgeons, nurses, and assistants by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the patient through all perioperative stages.

The role requires completion of an accredited surgical tech program, CPR certification, and up to two years of related clinical experience. Certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program or equivalent.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Before an operation, surgical technologists help prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and supports the surgical team.
• Performs pre-operation preparations to the patient's skin, body and medical equipment.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensures it works properly.
• Gets patients ready for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites.

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program

CPR certification

Military surgical tech training or equivalent

0-2 years of clinical experience
