HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team under surgeon and nurse supervision. You will prepare instruments, assist in sterile technique, and help ensure patient safety.

The ideal candidate has a surgical tech program background, CPR certification, and up to 2 years of clinical experience. This full-time role is based in Cleveland, OH and offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program or equivalent training.
• Must be certified to perform CPR.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions before operations.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures and follow hospital regulations.
• Perform pre-operation preparations to patient skin and equipment.
• Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile equipment for procedures.
• Get patients ready for surgery and assist with positioning and draping.
• Monitor vitals, check charts, and assist with gowns and gloves.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assistants during procedures.
• Assist with counting sponges, needles, and supplies; assist with specimens.
• Operate sterilizers, lights, suction, and diagnostic equipment.
