Qualifications

• A minimum of the equivalent of one year full‑time experience in a patient care position is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire; CNA or EMT required at hire; IAMTAC required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Lifts, moves or assists patients into and out of bed; positions patients
• Transfers patients to and from transport devices and chairs
• Pushes and pulls wheelchairs and gurneys occupied by patients
• Maintains cleanliness and assembly of wheelchairs, gurneys, bed and standing scales; inventories stock of supplies
• Documents all patient care in charting and charts
• Assists nursing personnel with activities of daily living and basic patient care
