Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Escort patients to the operatory in a timely manner.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment.
• Assist with patient preparation and monitor vital signs and anesthesia levels.
• Confirm medical history and educate patients on treatments.
• Assist surgeon by passing instruments and suctioning during surgery.
• Document surgical details in the EHR.
• Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-ups.
• Stock operatories and sterilization areas.
• Represent the practice professionally at all times.
