Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate in Vacaville, CA to manage branch inventory and support procurement, quoting, and customer service needs. The role is based at 1031 Aldridge Rd with scheduled shifts and up to 28 hours per week.

You will collaborate with the Supply Chain department to fulfill customer requirements, participate in receivables tasks, and assist with field operations. This position emphasizes reliability, organization, and strong math aptitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements for using a company vehicle.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement, including purchase orders and backorders.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
