Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at our Theodore, AL location. You’ll handle branch inventory, procurement, pricing estimates, and sourcing to meet customer needs. Some deliveries may be required, with a flexible schedule after onboarding if performance goals are met.

The role supports B2B operations and involves coordinating resources to ensure branch success, including receiving and processing orders and assisting AR activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree in business orSupply chain related field, or proven customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
