Fastenal Co. in Riverside, CA is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to help manage branch inventory, process procurement, and quote products for customers. This role involves coordinating resources to meet customer needs, supporting accounts receivable, and occasionally delivering with a company vehicle.

The position is based at 21801 Cactus Ave, Riverside, CA 92518. Candidates should be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, and either have a related degree or relevant experience;

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Degree in related field OR relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong organization and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision making.

• Able to lift, move up to 50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
