Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Danville, KY is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to manage inventory and support B2B operations by administering procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions for customer needs.

The role is based at 1439 Minor Rd, Danville, KY 40422 with 20–28 hours/week and a potential flexible schedule after onboarding. You will handle branch inventory, purchase orders, backorder management, pricing estimates, and coordinating resources.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or have degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing or related field OR related experience.
• Strong communication, math and computer skills.
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
