Job summary

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Driver's license valid in the job location and eligible for a company vehicle use.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning.
• Align with Fastenal's core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork.
• Lifting 25-50lbs, up to 75lbs; pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels.
• Administering procurement functions including purchase orders and backorders.
• Estimating or quoting prices and sourcing products.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Supporting accounts receivable activities.
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Performing other duties to support branch success.
