Job summary

Boston College invites applications for a Summer Teaching opportunity in Life Science Chemistry at the Brookline campus. Positions are part-time faculty teaching one lecture and two lab sections, running July 13–August 21, 2026, with lectures Mon–Thu 1:00–2:20 pm and labs on Fri.

Candidates should have college-level teaching experience in chemistry or life sciences, and a Ph.D. or MA in a relevant field or advanced graduate standing will be considered.

• A Ph.D. or M.A. in a relevant field or advanced graduate standing will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach Life Science Chemistry lectures and two lab sections during Summer 2026 (July 13–Aug 21).
• Prepare lectures and labs and meet with Health Science students as scheduled; coordinate with course staff.
